Description
VARIETALS. 53% Chardonnay, 33% Muscat Canelli and 14% Sauvignon BlancVINEYARDS.
The Chardonnay is sourced from Leslie’s Estate on Montebello Road, the Muscat Canelli is from the Scheid Vineyard in Monterey County, and the Sauvignon Blanc is sourced from Cedar Lane, Arroyo Seco.
WINEMAKING. Bottled in our signature “Pavone” bottle (Pavone translates from Italian to Peacock in English). A balance of flavor between the refreshingly dry Muscat, the ripe citrus Sauvignon Blanc and smooth French oak notes from our estate Chardonnay. The best of both worlds; aromatic whites paired with excellent mouthfeel and texture.
TASTING
Aroma: A fragrant bouquet reminiscent of a citrusy summer garden, honeysuckle, lychee, dragon fruit & lemongrass.
Palate: An elegant oak profile, bakes brioche bread, zesty fruit profile, with mouthwatering acidity.
FOOD PAIRING. Pairs wonderfully with spicy dishes such as Chicken Tikka Masala, an Indian biryani (mixed rice dish), palak paneer, Hot Pot, Shanghai-style braised pork belly, or peking duck.
