VARIETALS. 54% Sangiovese, 35% Grenache, 11% Malbec
VINEYARDS. The Sangiovese is from Machedo Creek Vineyard in Santa Clara Valley, the Grenache is from Cedar Lane Vineyard, and the Malbec is from Red Tail Vineyard.
WINEMAKING. This sparkling wine is a blend of tank-fermented Sangiovese rosé, as well as Grenache and Malbec to add vibrant color and depth to the finish. Once the final blend has been made, the wine is cold stabilized, CO2 is added, and then bottled under pressure.
TASTING
Aroma: Ripe florals with notes of cantaloupe, honeydew melon, and pomegranate. Delicate hints of lime zest and ginger add complexity.
Palate: Bright and effervescent with a crisp, refreshing mouthfeel. Flavors of cantaloupe, pomegranate, honeydew melon, and lime zest provide a balanced acidity and vibrant character.
FOOD PAIRING. Pop the cork and enjoy with a picnic spread, charcuterie and cheese board, fresh fruit, and indulgent delights like oysters on the half shell, oysters Rockefeller, and caviar.
