Positioned between the San Francisco Bay and the Sierra Nevada Mountain range, the Clements Hills appellation benefits from its unique location, offering a classic Mediterranean climate characterized by warm, sun-drenched days and refreshing cool evenings. After aging for 10 months in a blend of French and American oak barrels (with 33% new barrels), this Spanish varietal showcases a remarkable expression of its terroir.
TASTING
Aroma: Aromatic herbs such as rosemary, sage, bay leaves and thyme, with notes of blackberry and black cherry.
Palate: Deep purple in color with exotic flavors reminiscent of dark chocolate, licorice, and fennel seed. Balanced acidity and tannins.
