Hand-crafted using traditional Champenois methods, this complex dry rosé is a blend of equal parts Pinot Noir (from the Krause Vineyard in Los Altos Hills) and Chardonnay (from the Sunny Acres Vineyard in Felton). The two lots were barrel-aged sur lie for 15-months, and then tiraged and cellared for an extended period of 4-years before disgorgement, intensifying the wine's rich creamy mouth feel. This spectacular sparkler is fabulously flirtatious and fun-loving from the moment you first pop the cork until the very last sip. Delicate nose-tickling bubbles reveal a seductive floral fragrance, while refreshing flavors of dried cherry, strawberry and ginger dance across the palate in a burst of effervescent bliss that culminates in a crisp and clean finish. Served chilled, it makes a delightful aperitif and it can also be enjoyed with a wide range of cuisine, from antipasti, soft cheeses, hors d'oeuvres, seafood, caviar and sushi.
