WINEMAKING. This unique blend was created to honor both Vincenzo and Secundo Picchetti, who established their iconic winery in 1896, and Cameron and Grant Pantling, who took over the family business in 1997. The two lots were carefully blended and aged together in barrels with 45% new oak for one year to develop a rich and nuanced flavor profile. This wine makes the perfect gift for any brother in your life, celebrating both tradition and family legacy.
TASTING
Aroma: Blackberry, black cherry, and toasted oak.
Palate: Rich and smooth with strawberries, raspberries, black cherry and a hint of clove, cinnamon & anise.
FOOD PAIRING. Serve with decadent dishes like braised short ribs, black tea roast duck, grilled vegetables, aged cheeses & soppressata.
